I recently another variations listing for CD's. Now, when I try to edit the listing and add a few additional CD's, after entering all of the item details, photos, etc., I keep getting the same error message (see photo). I contacted eBay support and the clerk escalated the issue. When that person had no suggestions, I was told that the problem would need to be moved to a more senior person and that they would reach out to me. That has still not happened. This is very frustrating! If anyone has a legit suggestion, PLEASE post. Thank you in advance...

Thanks for the reply. However, my issue is not creating a variation listing; I have close to ten currently active. The issue that I am having is when I attempt to add an additional item to an existing, specifically a CD listing. After I add the new title, qty., photos, price etc. and try to save and close, I get an error message. It reads something to the effect of "This is embarrassing. Oops, something went wrong" and all of my newly entered data is lost. One out of 20 attempts will slip through and update properly. I spent a great deal of time in chats with two levels of eBay techs, to no avail, A senior person was supposed to contact me but that never happened. Thanks!

How many items do you have in each listing?
Its possible you are running into a total item limit. (How many items are you allowed to list?) You should be able to see that under the seller hub (bottom left normally) here:
Another point worth mentioning:
Variation listings get a bit buggy when you have a LOT of items. I try to keep them under 100 items max. Even though you can theoretically list up to about 250 different items on a single variation listing in total. (depending on some factors). But I think the thing gets a bit buggy when pushing it to that sort of limit. I sell DVDs and BluRays, and I try to keep the listings to around 50 or less each. Yes, I have to have more listings, but it seems less troublesome that way.
