Glitch on removing no longer registered users from 'following list'

On the list where you can 'follow' other ebay members pushing the heart to unfollow them is not working. I was doing this to remove anyone I used to follow that no longer has a registered account here. At first it worked and now it hasn't been working for a couple of weeks.

Is there another way to unfollow them?

I tried adding them to the blocked list but they are still on the following list.

I tried looking at the unregistered profiles and there is not a link there to be removed from following them.

I just removed a NARU seller from my Saved Sellers list:

But checking my My eBay page, the seller still appeared under Members followed. From that page I was able to use the "settings" link to get to an account All-Follows page, where I could click on another "saved" heart icon to get a confirmation to delete the member. Opening my My eBay page in another browser, it appears that the seller is removed from my list of Follows, and from my list of Sellers.

I was using Firefox for all this, though I dimly recall having issues with saving sellers or perhaps searches using Firefox at one point. Using Explorer (at the time) seemed to work better for some reason.

Now to see if I can add them back from the "save this seller link" on their "items for sale" page ... apparently I can.
