I thought I was just being careless as in the last two weeks, a couple of my listings when sold showed up as free shipping. In order to avoid this for further listings I went to my overview and selected the "shipping markdown" box in the search function so I could see if I had made the same mistake in other listings. When I did the search, it kept telling me I had no listings with free shipping so I did not worry until again, yesterday something sold and it sold with free shipping. I had checked just 2 days previous to this sale and my listings said zero found with free shipping. Contacted Ebay customer service and was told that I had changed my shipping policies (which I had not). The listings with free shipping are so random and are not only newly listed items but items that have renewed automatically. I explained that also, when trying to do a new listing today, shipping options were not coming up (I could not put in First Class or Priority Mail etc.) They then walked me through changing my shipping policies. I asked if now, I would have to do this with every listing as I had never had to do anything like this before while listing. Long story short CS rep told me that no, it was just a couple of days this happened and now I would be able to list as I had always done. Regarding the free shipping issue, I was told that I have 25 listings offering free shipping (I don't offer free shipping) and again I explained that I could not see anything, it was telling me zero free shipping offered. They have escalated this ticket due to potential sales with the free shipping option that I am unable to see. Just wanted to put it out there as it seems to have started happening in the first week of November 2022. I am probably not the only one...At least I know I am not losing my mind just yet.

So weird, last night, Ebay customer service said they are seeing 25 free shipping listings and I have not listed anything in the last couple of days so even what they are looking at is incorrect! I am really confused regarding this shipping policy. Up until 2 days ago I went on my happy way listing and in the shipping section I put the weight in pounds and ounces (the 2 boxes available) then checked off which services I wanted. Now I am getting the three dots and some sort of form asking me to create a policy name...This is new to me I have never had to do this. I tried it however most of my listings are pretty much the same as in shipping options and each time it asks me for a new policy. I don't know what has changed, why I can't just enter weight/ dimensions and priority/ first class or ground. I think I am just going to end all of the listings with the free shipping as trying to edit the shipping is becoming a nightmare.
