I found out through PayPal that an item of over $1,800 had been purchased on my account. Through PayPal, I found that the item was shipped to somewhere in Missouri. Not even close to where I live. I could not find the order in e-bay, yet PayPal determined that "there was no unauthorized use." If I can't find a fraudulent order in e-bay, how can I cancel it?

On most credit cards and any payments you will get a notification of such a large charge... and you also have to OK such a large charge. I work in retail. No one will usually just let that go through....not even American Express.
I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like a spam email. Doing something actually could make it worse.

I don't know..... I would be getting me a piece of PayPal.
Did this charge go on a credit card thru Paypal or was it on your PayPal balance?

How do you know for sure an $1800 charge was made to your paypal account? Did you log in to paypal and see it there? Or did you just get an email saying the charge had been made? If the latter, it is just some kind of scam. You can safely ignore that kind of email.
If you do find the purchase in your paypal account, you should try contacting paypal to get the charge reversed.

Are you sure the email was real?
Have you logged in to your Pay Pal account to see if the transaction was there?
I hope you didn't click any links in that email.
If your Pay Pal account was hacked, you won't find anything on Ebay.
