The link for getting an ITN from the AESDirect website goes to a 404: https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/aes/transitiontoace/index.html
For what it's worth, I've used https://simplifiedtradesolutions.com/get-an-aes-itn/basic-consumer-goods/ to get an ITN and it was much easier than trying to get an ACE account and go through all the customs hoops - hope this helps.
