Whose brainchild is this one? The FCP max is 16 oz.

(normally I'd say that's next to impossible, but then I remember where I am 🙂
Or the gremlins toggled your site setting in the middle of the night along with a typo. Might be worth checking.

So true, but actually I figured it out. When I changed from Fixed Rate to Calculated Shipping it changed the type from Package to Letter. Once I realized why there was an error I watched and saw it change on the next edit. Not sure why, but it did it for 6 edits in a row in bulk relist edit. The next 10 edits it left the mailing type unchanged at package.

I ran some test with a revise and couldn't get it to happen with toggling my site setting off, trying 14oz, 22 oz, etc. It threw expected red errors in the revision flow, and in one permutation accepted the revision and showed Priority rates in the listing even though it still showed FCP ad the product (the rates being correct since FCP can't be 22oz).
Anyway, let us know if the bulk editor does it again and changes the type.

Ah. Glad you got it figured.

Happened again today on a few listings as well when bulk editing.

When I played with it yesterday revising a listing it didn't happen. I changed the service to priority, to flat rate, to calculated, and back and forth, saving the changes and looking at the listing and nothing like that happened. Whether that isn't when it happens, whether it just isn't happening to me, or just isn't happening to me yet is unknown.
Wild thought: Do you have dimensions in the listings in question?

So it's happening if you just revise a single listing or when you relist a single listing? And when you bulk relist?

Only noticed it when bulk relisting. It happens on a few edits then stops changing them. I'm in the process of changing all my under 1lb Free Shipping to calculated for all but the very lightest items, so no dimensions on any of them.
