Hi: When I click on contact seller it brings me to a generic page that answers a few general questions. I then click on contact seller at the bottom of that page and then one of two things happen. I either get this message immeadiately after or sometimes I get a Captcha first where I have to prove "I am a human" and then I end up with this same message:
As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:
This happen to anybody else and If so, how did you resolve ?
Thanks

Using a link that causes a redirection loop is apparently something that can trigger that "bot" error message, since it appears you are trying to open many pages in quick succession.
Try using a different link, such as the one on the seller's profile page to contact the seller.
Or try contact the seller using the eBay app instead of a browser.

Tried clicking on contact seller link directly from my purchased items page. Sent to Captcha and then got the "bot" error message. Tried going to sellers profile page and clicking on contact seller linnk from there. Got the "bot" message immeadiately without the Captcha

Try another browser. Preferably the latest version of a popular browser with default settings and no add-ons installed. Make sure JavaScript is enabled and you are not using any plug-ins that would interfere with JavaScript.
I am able to use the contact links on seller pages to send messages without getting that error.

Thanks. Tried Google, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox. Basically all the same result. Pretty sure Java Script is enabled. How can I verify that ?

Are you using a Mac? I wonder if this only affects Mac users. I am using a Windows 10 PC and not having any problems using the "contact" link to send eBay messages.
Try this link to check if JavaScript is enabled:
