Active search tool in seller hub, mega broken, have found dozens of search words not pulling up my active listings.
Cant add to cart, just freezes, I have tried it and have had customers complaining about it today.

What browsers (or app) have you tried? Latest version?
Adding a random item to a cart seems to be working for me at the moment using Firefox 109 on a Windows 10 machine, or using the latest Android version of the eBay app.
Thursday nights eBay does updates which can often cause temporary instability, and occasionally longer term problems.

Yes... I reported the same glitch approx. 3 hours ago and there has been no progress. Now I discover that I'm not having trouble with just one keyword (using search bar of my Store's home page)... but it is happening with several of my previously effective keywords... effectively eliminating many listings from appearing in search results within my store. Dear eBay... neither of us can make money when the buyer can't find a listing that is actually on the site... but not appearing in search results.
However... if I place parentheses around each key word that I try... it works perfectly. Too bad that few customers would ever think to try that... as they've already moved on. One failure... and they're gone.

Customer Support confirms there has been an open ticket on the problems with "Search" that was reported on January 18 (ALERT14287; as posted in the "Technical Issues" Forum). I reported having problems with keyword searches from my store's homepage on Jan 27. They confirmed today that I've been added to the ticket from the Jan 18 "Ongoing Technical Issues" post... that they're working on it... but have no resolution yet.
Seems very odd... that I can add a single search word and though I have a dozen items like that in my store... it turns up zero results. However, when I add quotes around that one search word, it correctly brings up all matching search listings within my store. So far, I've been getting the same results... though I've tried several different keywords within the store.
The vast majority of single keyword searches (from my store's home page) seem to work perfectly. However, there are keywords that simply turn up a zero result... even though there are clearly related listings in my store. I can attempt searches with multiple keywords within my store that correctly find matching listings. However, when I try the single keyword again... it turns up nothing. Strange that it's so hit & miss... almost like someone is blocking the use of select individual keywords for searches within my store. Obviously, that doesn't help sales.
I'm trying to figure out why this is happening... but I simply can't see whatever might be wrong... and it seems Customer Support can't tell either. The matter remains in the unresolved tickets with Tech Support.
