I happened to be lucky enough to be working in eBay today when I saw that I had an order I needed to pack. There was no notification sent to my account or email indicating that there was a sale. I have refreshed, turned things off and back on again. Logged out and back in again and there is still no indication that I was sent any sort of notification for this sale. What's going on eBay? Down detectors and outages are not reported anywhere right now and when I tried to report the issue using the chat function it started freaking out sending information on how to do transactions in Germany. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Sounds like an eBay server issue.

Did you check you Spam and other folders?

Is your email Yahoo?
Recent update to Yahoo mail may have switched what you see, as in "all", or just Priority"

There is a thread relating to this issue if you use an email client such as yahoo, aol, hotmail...some have reconfigured "default" settings and created "sub-accounts" that direct your email (based on proprietary info in the headers) to those folders. examples are promotions ads, coupons, etc.....so, check for unknown folders, they are probably there and make the adjustment to allow them to go directly to your "inbox-all"

This just happened (March 24, 2025) to me for the second or third time. The more garbage ebay puts into their site the more these problems happen. I got two notifications of sales over the weekend. But, today it doesn't come through. This is another example of poor quality coding on ebay's part!

I have had notification issues in my email. For me the delays were on the email server end.
Notifications not an issue with one account, but issues with an account using different email.
