Ebay not loading properly for weeks

My ebay will do a search for me, but if I try to refine the search at all, it takes ages, often says page is unresponsive, and generally is not working properly.

I use google chrome but have also tried on edge - same problem.

I have cleared cache and cookies.  

Any ideas?

Try Firefox -- preferably the latest version with default settings and no add-ons installed.

If that works better, try disabling add-ons in your original browsers to see if one is causing a problem.

Certain ad blocking filters can have trouble with sponsored listings; if that seems to be the problem, try disabling "anti-circumvention filters" in Ad Block or ABP filters in Ad Block Plus.

Thanks - that worked - it was adblocker gumming up the works.
