Ebay account hacked

I live overseas now but maintain an active US account.  In looking through my profile one day, I noticed a different email address assigned to my account and name.   I have never changed my email!  So I h ave stopped using this account but am worried all my financial and Paypal information is tied to this account.  As I cannot call Ebay directly and apparently have no way to email or text them, I am unsure what to do!  It appears the only option I have is to open a new account and lose my excellent 100% rating with hundreds of transactions!  Help!

You don't need to close the account and abandoning just leaves it for the hacker to exploit.

You should first contact eBay and have them close all existing sessions everywhere for your account.

Once they have done that do a full scan of your computer with your anti-virus and one of the security scanner software. Address any issue found!

Change your eBay and Paypal passwords, consider changing any other passwords as well.  This should lock the scammer out of your account permanently.
