Woke up this morning and both on Chrome and Firefox browsers when I try to enter a search query, it auto-completes it with the first suggested query and doesn't allow me to edit it! What the heck!?

It stopped doing it. It appears it does it if you click through to a Ebay from a Google Shopping listing then try to do a new search.
