This is really weird and only happening the past few months when shipping options changed. This is the 5-6th time this has happened and as a non-profit, we can’t keep absorbing eBay's shipping glitch.
Yesterday - Buyer purchases 3 separate items. One is small and listed as calculated shipping First Class. The 2nd item is over a pound and listed as calculated Priority mail. The 3rd item is big and heavy at 7lbs and listed as free shipping via UPS Ground. The other 2 packages cannot be shipped with this large item or we would. End of auction, eBay automatically combined the 3 items into 1 with free shipping. We do not have any of our auctions set for combined shipping. When we went to send an invoice, the 1st Class line was the only option to type in an amount, the Priority and UPS lines would keep zero’ing out.
Sold another item for $15 and was set to ship calculated priority (weighs 1-2lbs) at buyers cost and eBay auto switched it to UPS Ground at $0.00. Of course, the buyer immediately paid that invoice and won’t respond to request for shipping fees - that were correct in the listing.
Help. Please.

Go to your Shipping Preferences. If you do Combine Payments, leave that option enable, but check both your Flat Rate and Calculated shipping rules by clicking edit and make sure they are both disable (not offered).
