I am at my wit's end. I can't get anyone to help me. Customer service has stopped responding or they tell me the same trite stuff that doesn't work repeatedly. This is the worst customer service I have ever gotten, even worse than Comcast which I didn't think was possible. Does anyone have anything or a contact that could help me? Phone, chat, and Facebook Business page are useless. I am an eBay account holder since 2000.
The Problem --> I can't get to the screen to submit the verification information. Any link leads to a "Too many redirects". Please read carefully as people seem to think that this is a cache or browser issue, it is not. I know. I am a 30 year web developer so I am in the know.
I have tried:
I can't get to the screen to upload my drivers license pictures. It goes "too many redirects". The issue is, when I click to get verified, it goes in an endless loop and too many redirects.
Here is the video that shows what happens:
Please no one tell me to clear caches or try incognito mode. I have been doing that for days - many computers, many networks. Also please don't tell me that my info needs to match. I know this. I can't get to the screen to input information. When I try no matter what computer or what browser --- this happens:
Thanks for your time.

Is there an alternative page you can start with, rather than your My eBay Selling Overview page?
Such as seller Hub?
Is it possible to submit your information on ebay.ca instead of ebay.com?

I normally download my photos on my computer from my 20 year old camera.
Can you put the photo in front of your camera of your computer and take a photo and transfer it?
I can also download a photo from my iPhone to the eBay app.
Just a few thoughts.
Good luck.

I scan my photos on my printer and use a free program called Irfanview64 that helps with the picture cropping and reducing the pixel size and puts it into a jpg. Then you can upload no issue. I am sure you can do it on your phone as well.

do your devices all have an ebay app or shortcut that might cause redirects? like bouncing from app to browser and back again?

Thank you for at least answering my question. I have tried all of those. Endless redirect. There is something in the super long URL the system doesn't like. If you look at the above 3 answers, you can see that people don't really understand the problem and give answers that have nothing to do with the problem. Which is what I get from ebay support.

I appreciate that you want to help. It would be really helpful if you read my post and understood my problem. What you wrote has nothing to do with the problem I am having.

This is not the problem I am having. I appreciate you want to help, but you need to understand my problem. This is exactly how I am being treated by customer support... answers that have nothing to do with my problem.

Hmmm, I am pretty sure not. But that is a good thought. I had a friend test this who lives miles away on his pc and got same result. The app on my phone tells me too many redirects without switching to a browser. So I don't think this the cause, but appreciate someone finally offering something of substance.
You did give me an idea however, I think I will try booting up in safe mode and see what happens.

I have tried:
- 3 different networks, WIFI and cellular.
- I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and Safari
- I have restarted, cleared all cookies and caches both local and network.
- I have tried private and incognito mode
- I have tried the EBay app.
- I have tried mac and pc that are not on the same network.
- Customer service keeps telling me to use incognito window - every time I respond and tell them I have done that many times but they don't seem to listen.
- I have been working on this for 9 days.

Hey @redlinzus we've just received word that this issue has now been resolved! I'd recommend trying through an incognito or private window (or clear cache and cookies) and you should be able to complete your verification.
