I noticed that the date and time a action was listed is no longer visable. I used the date and time to tell me how far I need to scroll back in the listings when looking for items. What's up with this?

The problem is still persisting for me too but in firefox. It works okay in chrome. With you having the issue in chrome and mine in firefox leads to me to think too that the problem is one ebay's end.

I have a feeling that is a problem that won't get fixed because it's not widespread enough for EBAY to deal with it. I just don't understand how the page could change to no date and time listed and all my saved searches are set to default instead of the way I had it on one browser, Google Chrome and it's the way it normally was in another, Firefox.

It's obviously, at least in my case, a Google Chrome/EBAY issue. No matter what I do, from customizing my searches on each page to going to advanced and just scrolling down the page, clicking "worldwide" and clicking "search" the page ALWAYS goes back to default and none of my changes are saved. I CAN get the time and date to show up if I got to "advanced" then just scroll all the way down the page, not clicking on anything then clicking "search" the page does show the time and date listed. But if I go to another search the date and time for the new page doesn't show up. And if I go back to the page that I was able to get the date and time to show they are now gone and everything is set back to default.

Same here, except only with firefox. I did check to see if trying a search in advanced if the date and time would show and it did. But like you if I go to another search, etc. it reverts back to it not showing.

Interesting about the advanced search thing.

I'm more convinced it's a broken script because I noted this while looking at a missing-TRS-badge-on-search-results-pages issue a bit ago:

That's the code for the time remaining that should be appearing above the seller name in the search results. What you are seeing there is the placeholder for remaining time element, but it isn't getting filed in/updated by the script (and it looks like the script or scripts in question are the awful ir.ebaystatic.com ones that I always want to block, but don't because it breaks too many other things - they continuously chew up major CPU whenever I profile them)

This is what that block looks like in another FF browser where time remaining is working for a listing ending soon (the type where the time ending is in red because it's less than 60min):

Looks like whatever changes were made put some final coffin nails in FireFox 3.6.24

Now the date and time don't appear in any FF3.6 browser instances (not just the main one I was having trouble with), and eBay main page (that I never visit unless accidentally) is mostly a huge empty expanse of dead garbage with dead links, and mostly no images.

Fortunately, these forums (sort of), My eBay Solds, unsolds, search (except for the date time thing and most of the settings dropdowns), PayPal, FedEx, eBay shipping, and most of the things I need to do still mostly work in FF3.6.24.

I can't really fault eBay for dropping support for a browser version superseded 7 years ago and end-of-lifed 6 years ago (although I'm guessing it wasn't intentional and was just a byproduct of slapdash website design/management)

However, it's good that those of you using new shiny browsers have gotten relief.

I checked EBAY using Chrome and the date and time started is showing again, at least as of today. We'll see if whatever the problem was is really fixed or sorted.
