A few times a week when trying to print a shipping ticket, Ebay errors and states that it can't issue the shipping label. I reported this multiple times to Ebay and they tell me that they know of the technical issue and are working on it. This has been going on for months with no fix. Recently, I figured out that if you don't buy insurance the error doesn't occur and I am able to print the ticket. However, this is not a solution I can use most of the time since I sell items that must be insured. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this problem.

Ive had the same problem. i found that when trying to buy a shipping label via the eBay iPhone App the error occurred if there isn't funds from a previous item sold in my eBay account ( before ebay paid to my bank)

also I've found that using the eBay website on my laptop avoided this error.

additionally international shipping labels need to be done on a laptop.

you may want to update the payment options to draw from a different credit card rather than eBay managed payments fund

If you need insurance beyond the free $50-$100., consider opening a Ship Saver account (under the app tab). It is cheaper and easier to collect on claims than either USPS or Ship Cover insurance.

Also this error can occur if the address is not in the exact official USPS format. So next time check it here:
