I was recently involved in a transaction I was notified that an unauthorized third party may have acessed the seller’s account to list the item. The item has been removed from the site, and the transaction was cancelled. I have already paid for this item. I was asked to take precautions and open a request with the Resolution Center, which I eventualy did but unfortunately "http://resolutioncenter.ebay.com" was down and unable to submit my request. I have used the site "Return Item" to open a request for help. The item does not show as purchased since it has been removed. I have been notified that when the buyer responds ebay will notify me but there is no buyer and I have waited more than the the time ebay suggest I should wait. Calling ebay does not work. and I am lost for solutions.

'When the buyer responds', you mean the seller? You are the buyer? If so, you can go to Paypal and file an item not received case, the transaction will be there.
