I'm unable to check out!
I've contacted eBay and PayPal. eBay has no idea what's going on. PayPal states they've had over 200 calls regarding this issue today (reference ticket# CSTS6139).
Anyone else experiencing this?

Been experiencing this since this past weekend...I don't think it's a paypal issue as my UBER payments go through...just not Ebay and it's driving me nuts!

I've been having this issue too. Yesterday I spoke with ebay tech on chat and the guy was helpful, we went through several workarounds and eventually we found one that worked and I made my payment. I logged out of ebay, the tech guy removed my card details. I logged in via the Australia site and put my card details in and it worked.
Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding with the seller the order was cancelled. I logged on today to try and reorder the item but I'm met with the same payment errors for both Card payment and Paypal So I use ebay chat again (hopeful after yesterdays success) and I'm immedietely palmed off to paypal.
After persuading the tech guy to put a little more effort in after telling him his colleague fixed it yesterday. I'm given some other workarounds that don't work, including removing my card and account details from my PAYPAL account and trying again with enough balance in Paypal for the purchase. I tried this with still no luck. After this he palms me off to Paypal again. I also explained that my debit card also doesn't work but was told that ALL payments go through Paypal so it must be there issue.
I found this post after searching before going to paypal. This is some pretty terrible support. Even over the space of 24 hours that I know this case has been active for they still do not have a solid workaround or even a statement to give users suffering with the issue.

Would ebay like to explain why my reply to this post was marked as spam?
Short summary of my deleted post;
- Yes, I am also having the same issue
- Yesterday me and a tech guy on chat was super useful and found a workaround and made a payment
- Today, same problem
- Tech guy on chat was next to useless and palmed me off to paypal
- Really bad tech support
-Even their 'Current System Status' says everything is OK
Why after 24 hours is there no workaround or statement prepared for end users suffering with the issue?

Tonight, I can't checkout because ebay says "invalid zipcode." The zipcode is same as it ever was! Says "Can't ship to CA, United States." Sounds like they think I'm trying to ship it to CAnada, United States!
