For more than one month when I click "sell similar" or "send item to auction" Whne I try to list I get the error:
"It looks like there's a problem with this listing.Discounted pricing is applicable for fixed price items only."
I am using strike through pricing. I am told its an issue with strike through pricing and using a fixed price with strike through to make an auction. I contacted ebay twice. One employee said it has always been that way. No it has not, I have been selling 25+ Auctions a week for more than a decade all listed from fixed price.
Ebay seems to have no interest in fixing this.
So far it has cost me and ebay 25-30K in gross sales since I simpky do not have time to sit there and spend 15 minutes per auction and start alisting from scratch.
It's like ebay doesnt care about the revenue loss. So we are selling more other places now. Sales on ebay per month are now lower than they have been in years becaue they don't care to fix their problems.
Gross sales on ebay decrease for me alone will likely be 300K a year as Its eaier to sell it somewhere else than make listings form scratch everytime I need to do an auction. How much in gross sales are they losing sitewide due to this?
And yes I did as ebay at first suggested and deleted cookies etc. Still did nto work. Also used browser I never used and tried multiple computers. One ebay emplyee did acknowledge that it was an issue and currently no work around.
Perhaps they are trying to decrease auction listings?
