Can't print shipping labels

I'm trying to print my labels for tomorrow (using original label format) and when I select the weight etc the shipping amount is staying blanked out such as this "--" and the purchase postage button is essentially greyed out. I've tried on a couple items and still same issue.

No idea. eBay shipping always works fine for me.

A temporary glitch, or something wrong or missing in the info in the original listing transferred to the label flow that is causing gridlock, possibly a buyer address that causes the eBay label flow to reject it and be unable to compute postage, any number of things.

Is there anything odd about the buyer's address? International or domestic? What carrier and shipping service?

From what you posted it sounds like you did you specify dimensions and/or weight in the listing, and I'm guessing are not doing it properly somehow in the label flow. Carrier, service, weight, and dimensions are all required (most cases)

Can't print shipping labels

You mean you set your listings up to charge a flat shipping cost, and you don't put any dimensions or weights in the listing shipping sections?

The shipping flow still needs dimensions and weights unless you are choosing USPS Flat Rate boxes or Envelopes, and there have been some bugs with the new bulk label flow requiring dimensions for USPS products like Regional Boxes that don't require dimensions.

What carrier, service, packaging, weight, and dimensions did you specify in the listing and try to use for the label?

Its working now. Apparently was a glitch. I've never had to follow a dimensions flow.....You can just choose to go by a flat rate method and ship first class or priority etc. Doesn't mean via "flat rate" usps just means for example for Shirt X I charge 3$ to ship to anyone domestically first class and 7$ priority or dress Y costs 5$ first class usps etc. I hope that makes sense. I've been shipping this way on ebay at least 15 years now. Guess it was just a weird glitch. Thanks anyway for your assistance.

Glad it's resolved.

Dimensions can theoretically be required in the label flow for any services that are not flat rate, and eBay has been changing things in the new label flow - if you don't have weights and dimensions in your listings that can be used to pre-populate the label form fields you MAY find you run into issues like you did in the future if eBay messes up the logic.

They already did for Regional Boxes a while back - if dimensions were not in the listing, the bulk label flow went into a tizzy and got stuck unless a workaround of changing the service, specifying arbitrary dimensions, and then switching back to Regional A was used. It could happen with the single label flow too if Murphy's Law comes into play.

Just saying it's safer to enter dimensions in the listings to start with, even for fixed price Flat Rate Shipping, and/or when using carrier flat rate services to avoid any chance of these bugs causing grief.
