Can't add items to watch list

I know this is an ongoing problem, but in the past I've been able to get an item on my watch list by just being persistent... refresh/add/see if it takes/etc.

For the past three or four days even this doesn't work. Is anything being done with this? Are watch lists going away?

Do you  have more than 200 items on your watch list? I have noticed my watch list behaving erratically once the number of items gets that high. If I delete a few items one at a time, or move some items to another list, eventually it starts to behave again. 

I certainly hope eBay has no plans to do away with lists -- I am watching over 2000 items and would hate to have to keep track of them with bookmarks or some other means.
