For at least the last 7 days I have been unable to adjust the amount of insurance I want to purchase when shipping an item through the bulk shipping tool.
For example: I have an item to ship that sold for $500. It will be shipped First Class at a weight of 5oz. I would like to insure this item for $100.
I do the following:
1. Click the blue edit link to edit the label options.
2. Change the Declared Value of the item to $100 USD
3. Change from "NO" to "Yes" for USPS Insurance
4. Click the blue "Apply to all selected labels (1)" to close the edit label info box
Prior to encountering this issue my label price would be calculated as $3.50 for the First Class postage plus $2.85 for $100 insurance for a total label price of $6.35.
Now, however, clicking Yes for insurance causes it to charge me insurance for the full value of the item, regardless of what I manually enter for the declared value.
I sent an email to eBay customer service right away asking for this to be referred to the tech department but I have heard nothing and the problem persists.
Has anyone else experienced an issue with this?
