Issue duration: since 12/10, error has persisted for 3 days now
Task: Bulk drafts - copy-and-pasting new item description into empty text field
Step: Bulk drafts -> Select All -> Bulk Edit -> Item description -> CHANGE TO (text mode is the ebay preset, NOT html)
Issue: when copy-and-pasting the entire item description into the previously empty field, only the first line carries over (let's say the c&p description is 8 paragraphs/lines in total - only the first line shows up, the rest blinks into existence briefly and then disappears for good).
Have been doing this task for years, never had that issue before.
Attempted fixes: changed computers and browsers, deleted cache/cookies, created a new item description to c & p in case something was off with my saved item description file. Ensured the text formatting (font, bolded/not bolded, type size etc) adheres to ebay's preferred/pre-set options, also altered the text to see if that fixed the copy-and-paste process. It did not. Also completed the drafts in all other fields (e.g. pricing, shipping, UPC, etc) to see if unfilled fields elsewhere caused the C&P issues. This did not fix anything.
Used 'Add to beginning/add to end/replace' modes instead of 'change to', same error.
Problem shows up whether I start a scratch-listing from computer browsers OR phone app - no change.
