I just bid on an item from a seller in Germany priced in Euros. Shipping is specified as 1 EUR which gets converted to NOK 10.48. But on the summary page it says NOK 109.75 which had me worried. Until I realized that the square root of 109.75 is roughly 10.48. So eBay takes the number of NOK and think it's EUR, multiplying by the exchange rate *again*.
BTW I wish ebay could stop trying to convert to my currency but instead show everything in the listing currency. After all, that's what I have to relate to when actually bidding, as well as when paying. I find it very confusing.
