Automatic log in to community

Why is Ebay logging me automatically into community although my slider for not doing so is placed correctly in account settings? Whenever I log out of community I log out my selling account and vice versa. I did erase cookies and it didn’t solve the issue. I am never asked for log in when I hit community at the bottom of your ebay selling account .

I have noticed similar complaints about users having trouble signing out of ebay.com itself.

Clearing your eBay cookies and closing your browser should sign you out; if you have other eBay pages open in other browser tabs, deleting cookies alone may not work if those pages are reloaded before closing the browser.

If you are trying to switch accounts and are running into problems, try using a private or incognito browser window for the other account.

I'm not sure why that setting is even there because the system ignores it. There's more info in this post by lacemaker.
