Anyone else getting laggy PayPal notification emails hours after a sale?

I’m getting eBay sales email notifications instantly...but the PayPal emails are coming hours later..they are usually within seconds of each other.  Never seen this much lag before ever.

Today I am getting pay pal notifications about 8-10 hours after payment was made.

This is how it started for us. Paypal payment emails were laggy (as were emails when we purchased postage). It's been like that for a few days.

And then today, there are 2 orders that we received hours ago that we have not received EBay emails on notifying us of an order. Which is obviously a much bigger problem (especially combined with laggy Paypal emails).

Same deal, but it doesn't bother or effect me as long as I instantly get some notification that something sold (eBay or PayPal).

Yes, me too.  On shipping labels it is about 4-5 hours.  On purchases it is about 6-8 hours.

It's about 2-3 hours for eBay to message me, and 5-8 hours for PayPal.  This is hardly new though, I've seen erratic notices coming from both companies for a few weeks now.  It works for a while and then it sputters & coughs for a while.  I had one from a week ago that took an extra day for eBay to let me know it sold, but I saw it in PayPal purely by accident. 

I had a customer today who emailed me to see about combined shipping, but it was a couple of hours late in getting to me, so he just went ahead and paid separately.  I saw the note about combined shipping and then had to try and figure out what he was talking about, since I hadn't gotten any notices of anything needing an invoice or selling. 

It's funny when eBay tries to convince me that I should go to same day shipping when I'm not even sure if they'll tell me I sold something within a day.

I was upset that a Paid item was not showing on my PP account page, until I realized that the sale was on my new account and still on 21 day Hold. (Non-US seller.)

But the same complaint is all over the eBayCanada Boards.

I know when I sell somethig because I do not get many sales from GTC,its all about the auctions for me,ending after dinner.

I generally do not pay much attention to paypal emails.I know when its time to ship by looking at the seller hub,its easy to see,tells you what to ship.I buy plenty on ebay and have to remember to print my receipts for the tax man.I generaly get a receipt quick  for something I have just paid for

Same with me. 6-8 hours difference. Anyone reached out to Paypal to know what story is? I hate talking to un-knowledgeable eBay reps, is Paypal better?

The notification goes off and I think I sold something else.

Possibly, sellers are enjoying such bountiful sales volumes, that PP is having a difficult time keeping up-
