I am addressing two issues herein.
There is SO much I like about ebay, but this is not one of them: FIRST, ebay, why don't you make the task of reporting a bug with, or error on, a page easier? It took me TEN MINUTES of looking all around to find this, under "Community". Every page in ebay ought to have a "bug/error" link, to this or whatever (just like so many other good web sites do).
SECOND: I'm not sure, but this appears to be an error in a "Help" topic >>
On page
https://pages.ebay.com/help/search/advanced-search.html
about half way down it talks about
"Using search operators (Boolean logic)"
It says this about the subject of using QUOTES in a search >>
----------------
Quotation marks (also known as double-quotes)
Searches for the exact word or phrase in the listing title
"Action" DVD returns listings that have the exact words Action and DVD in the title in any order.
"Action DVD" returns listings that have these 2 words in the title in this specific order.
---------------
? Shouldn't it say
"Action" "DVD" returns listings that have the exact words Action and DVD in the title in any order.
I know the results will be similar in either case, but I'm trying to help get things just right.
Please make it so someone doesn't have to spend 20 minutes or more on the rare occasions when one wants to report an error or bug on a page.
