'Add to watchlist' not working on Firefox

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm on the latest version, 70.0.1 and it's been ongoing for a few days now. I can add items in Chrome but it's a bit inconvenient having to switch to another browser to do this.

Any more info much appreciated. Thanks

'Add to watchlist' not working on Firefox

@nickg313

I just updated to the new version of Firefox, and I am still able to add items to my Watch List.

What happens when you try to add an item using Firefox? Do you get any kind of error message, or does it simply fail silently?

Can you add items to other lists?

Lately the Watch List has issues displaying the blue banner that indicates an item has been added -- the banner initially appears, but upon reloading the page or navigating away and back, the banner no longer appears, making it difficult to know if an item has been added to the Watch List or not without actually going to the list to check. This problem seems to only affect the Watch List, not other lists. This particular issue does not appear to be browser-dependent, though.

It just does nothing. No blue banner, and when I go to check my watchlist nothing has changed. After doing it in Chrome when I go back to my watchlist in Firefox the item is there.

Edit: now this is interesting. I was using ebay.com when I had the problem. Going to ebay.co.uk and 'add to watchlist' works. It's odd though as it wasn't site specific until very recently. And, as I mentioned, it doesn't matter using Chrome.

Weird.

Firefox is "technically" not supported by eBay. They code everything for Chrome.

Firefox is supported, at least according to this page:

https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/resolving-technical-issues/technical-issues?id=4220

In fact, for Mac users, only Safari and Firefox are recommended.

Of course that page also says that Internet Explorer is currently supported, so.... never mind.

Interesting whenever I run into a site issue customer "support" always demands I prove it on Chrome claiming that is the only browser they officially support.  Seems it is just a tactic to brush me off and get me to go away.  Not surprised with as little as eBay cares about supporting their sellers.
