Out of all the platforms I have to say eBay has the worse system/program setup. You say that you pull listings for our protection Buyers and Sellers. Than you punish us for it even when you know it was a honest mistake made. You already have the system set up to capture these listings Why dont you add some program lines to prevent the listing from being placed that way you pull them before a mistake is made and you protect us and dont have to punish anyone for a honest mistake. Thats the way facebook marketplace does it The listing is pulled before its placed. This way Your not loosing your top rated sellers. over a simple fix. I am sure your coders can program the changes into the vero checker. There really is better ways of protecting us than to take away our method of providing food on the table for our familys. I do hope someone from ebay reads this and gives it some thought. Your system is ambigous it labels an authenic item as counterfit because someone used Their own photos but also included a stock photo or unknowingly that they couldnt use photos from another site or even an obvious mistake like a manufactuer photo. It should state used a stock photo not call an authenic item a counterfit and cause the seller to get all upset and not know what they did wrong sitting them up to do it again unknown. These are simple flaws easy fixs. I will be in a very bad situation if I was to loose my privilege of using ebays platform. This is my job now since covid. There are no unemployment benifits. My wife and I have no family to turn to for help. I honestly dont know what would happen to us. I use other platforms too but eBay is king and my only way to provide food, rent and car/insurance and pay other bills for my family. I do not have a education in bussiness and I learn new things each day like VeRO and brand names which brand names according to law as long as item is legally obtained and no written agreement between seller and manufactuer was made that seller would not sell item on ebay is perfectly legal. Please for new sellers and for your top rated sellers do protect us but dont punish us. Put a system in place to pull the listing before its placed some simple added code lines to your current system thats all. I would understand if someone was spamming the same violation on same item over and over being punished. This not only would be protection for us but for eBay also. eBay does not want to loose top rated sellers bringing in money that are honest and work hard to satisfy Customers. Thats bad bussiness practice. Put this simple fix in place and watch and see if your income along with the sellers dont rise. All I can say is please do this. Thank you.
