Account Suspension?

We had completed the setup of a number of new ads and then realized we were over the $100,000 limit. To get under the limit we went in and simply reduced the number of available items. When we went to relist, our account was permanently blocked.  We are only selling a bunch of excess plastic bottles and sprayers and are at a  loss as to how or why the account was suspended for eBay violations. Any insights would be appreciated. Thank you.

What was the reason given for the suspension?  Seems to be happening more often nowadays.

Are you a new seller? A new seller has a $100,000 limit?

I'm confused by the wording in your post.   Have you been gone from eBay a long time?  There is zero feedback shown if I click on the "view listings" link here, yet it says you've been a member since 2016.  If you have been gone a long time, have you signed up for Managed Payments?  It's a whole new world if that's the case and you're just coming back.  When you say you set up a number of ads, do you mean you created new listings?   Are you working with saved listings from years ago?  And I have no idea what you mean by 100K limit.   And then you said you tried to "relist" after creating "new" ads, so I'm not understanding.  What, exactly, did the notice say to you beside the fact that your account was permanently suspended?   A reason should have been stated.  At any rate, since this is specific to only your account, you would really need to contact eBay directly for answers I think.  Use any of the "contact us" links at the bottom of pages and request a call back.  If you can't get any help that way, send a private message on the Ebay for Business Facebook page.  They will respond after getting account information from you.   Just be sure to use the "send message" link there.  Good luck!

Yes. We are aware of the $100,000 limit and we in the middle of adjusting our available inventory levels to get below this threshold when the account was deactivated.

Thank you. We have been a buyer for quite some time and were looking to sell of some excess inventory. There is a $100,000 sales cap for new sellers and we were in the middle of reducing our inventory quantities to get below this when we are locked out of the acocunt.

Ebay has been doing a lot of security reason shut downs lately:

New seller listing $100,000 worth of item will flag a security check.

Most likly some of your info did not match, as well and or possible old account linked to you and so on..

I doubt you will get this back as it is a full suspension.

Most get the supply information so they can verify account and goods they list: you did not even get that.

This account may also be removed when the software finds it.

Thank you.  That was going to be my next question of the OP.

"Excess plastic bottles and sprayers" -- seems innocuous enough.

Are you buying on another ID? If so, is there a problem with that ID?

You are registered for about 5 years and have no FB for buying or selling on this ID.

Cannot be 100% certain, but have never ever heard of a new seller having what amounts to a "the sky's the limit" limit on listing.  New sellers come here often and complain because their selling limit is a few hundred dollars.

It seems like there are a few details missing in your message.

Aware of a $100000 limit?

That's really odd as most if not all new sellers are limited to a very small allowance (like $500 for example) before they establish themselves.

Saying you have a $100,000 selling limit is exceptional and extraordinary and I would say unheard of.

Are you sure that's what it is, did ebay say that?

Are you in some kind of special program?

I hope you figure out your dilemma.

good luck

As a new seller, how did you get a $100,000 listing limit?

if you were working to get below the threshold then it means you went over the threshold. MAYBE going over is what caused it.
