Accepted Offer But Not showing Up anywhere

in addition to all of the other issues in the last two days...now a new one i just reported to ebay ....accepted an offer ...got the popup from the ap that i accepted but cant find the item anywhere.....no emails that i accepted the offer......not in awaiting payment...not in paid ready to be shipped....just gone...clicked on the email again to accept the offer and it then tells me that i dont have any received offers...well yeah cause i already accepted it...anyway reported 20 minutes ago...smh

You had a sale with best offer on Dec 13th the pop up you saw may have been a delayed notification on that sale. The app is iffy like that.

no the sale was today and this all happened today ...i called ebay and she couldn't figure out what was wrong...this is not normal and i accept all offers through the ap and this has never happened before other than a minute or two...anyway it eventually showed up just a few minutes ago after hours of nothing....she said there were similar tickets open with different variations of the problem i described...thankfully it fixed

Glad it worked out for you. I don’t use the app due to it being so unreliable as a selling tool

I was wondering, I am having the same issue, accepted a best offer and nothing, says the item is still listed, i will give its some more time, and see if it fixes itself

@dynastysfashionboutique  @prph2o  - eBay is testing a new feature where when the seller accepts an offer, the listing remains active until the item is actually paid for.

This allows the seller to send offers to multiple buyers for the same item, and also keep the item active if someone just wants to Buy It Now, with the first person to pay becoming the "winner".

My guess is what you are seeing may be related to this new feature where you accepted the offer, but the item remained active waiting for payment to be completed.

It's certainly concerning (but sadly not surprising) to hear that customer service appears to be unaware of this test and that it might be responsible for what you are experiencing.

This exact thing happened to me yesterday. I thought I was going insane when I couldn't find it in my sales. No clue where it went but there goes $500. These glitches are OUT OF CONTROL!

@agentcloseteur see my response above and check to see if that listing is still active - it's possible it may be part of this new feature eBay is testing where the item stays active until the accepted offer is paid for.

The same thing happened to me yesterday also. I accepted the offer, did not get the email saying the item had sold. Checked and the item was still active and thought I was going crazy. Later that evening I received an email that the item was paid for and to ship. I was so confused! I’m glad I came here and saw this reply.

thankyou...funny a day after i posted this i was like hmm im wondering if ebay is doing that whole not taking t down until its paid for thing....and then shortly after i hard about this from others....anyway thanks...would be awesome if we didnt have to guess and jsut be told these things are going on...that would cut down on calls suggesting a glitch

Same thing has happened to me 3 times in the past two days.  I tried contacting eBay but their customer service is pretty useless. They said they'd call me and it would only be a minute wait time but I never got a call.

I think this is a new feature to try to stop non payment buyers It is not working I am not getting people to complete the sale I think buyers are not informed of the new process and are not completing the sale.  I having a problem with counter offers that i accept are going back to the buyers as an offer and not getting paid.  I have tried to find out if I can shut off this feature but it doesn't look like it.  If this is the way going forward I will loose sales until buyers are more informed of the process

I really dislike this new feature. It's happened to me twice in the last few days where it goes into an abyss after I accept an offer and the buyer doesn't pay. I hardly ever had any non-payers before. Not sure why eBay continues to focus their time, energy, and $ on the wrong features over and over again.

The buyers offer was accepted but other buyers can still buy or offer until someone pays.

You cannot see the item as sold and it is not sold until someone pays for it.

You can actually see the pending offer in the offers section on the listing.
