I don't know what happened, I'm right in the middle of redoing my entire store, right when I set up a promotion and needed edit some listings so they don't have the wrong information on them, it locked me out. I closed out of google chrome, checked my settings, didn't see anything wrong. I've tried using https instead of http, I've read multiple forums in search of an answer and I can't figure it out. I'm not using a VPN. I did have a lot of tabs open but I was just editing listings. Someone please help, I have over 600 active listings and I got booted when I was changing listing promotions. I'm worried people will buy from me when I was trying to quickly change listing details. This is a nightmare, please help!

It looks like you're trying to access it via http:// instead of https:// which may be the cause. You might try editing the protocol in the address bar to https and see if it works.

eBays web address is https://www.ebay.com/
If you couldn't access eBay at all you wouldn't have been able to post here.

I said in the post that I tried using https and it still won't work, that's 1 of the first things I googled and read on someone else's post. It doesn't matter if I type https://www.ebay.com/ or if I click the link, I still get access denied. I JUST was let back into ebay for about 60 seconds, and it just kicked me back off again. All I did was try to update the shipping policy on my listings.

If you read my description in the post, you will see that I've tried typing it in as https and http. I've tried clicking the link you provided and I still get the access denied message.
I was let into ebay for maybe 60 seconds before I read your message. I tried changing my shipping policy on my listings and then it kicked me out again and gave me the access denied message again.

My apologies, my brain skipped over that part. Did you try the usual stuff like clearing your browser cache? Can you access it from the app?

I did read it. But what you don't seem to get is when you are posting in this forum you ARE already in eBay.
Have you tried clearing your browser history and cookies?

Yes I cleared my history and cache, I'm able to get on with my phone. I just downloaded firefox and it let me login that way but I'm still locked out on google chrome. I'm hoping it'll stay open long enough for me to fix my ebay store. But I've never had this happen and all of my extensions and bookmarks are on google chrome. Am I now stuck with having to use firefox to use ebay from here on out? What caused this and how do I fix it?

Ok sorry for not being more specific. I don't care about being able to go onto ebays community forum. I need to get to my ebay sellers dashboard or even just the home page of ebay: ebay.com so I can try to fix my listings. It doesn't help my business if I can talk to you all on this forum but I don't have access to my store so I can list more items or ship out orders.

Good question, but also not surprised. I have to use Firefox for a lot of different sites because Chrome is blocked for some reason, but it hasn't happened to me on eBay. As far as what caused it - your guess is as good as mine. Will it allow you to connect after disabling your plugins?

What if you go into your account from your post here by clicking "View listings"
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_ssn=hucards
Then on that page, go to your "my ebay" in the upper right of the page.

Not sure what OS you are using, but have you tried installing and using Edge?

I just downloaded firefox and it let me login that way but I'm still locked out on google chrome.
If you are unable to import your bookmarks from Chrome into Firefox, try installing a different variant of Chrome such as Chrome Beta. That won't affect your current Chrome setup. If that works and allows you to access eBay through Chrome Beta, you should be able to import all your bookmarks and plug-ins (though you may want to hold off on the plug-ins in case one of those is causing the issue).
Once you have fixed your listings you can experiment with different plug-ins and settings to see if one is causing this issue for you.
