Pulling watch count- possible?

I'm interested in pulling item watch count for the search method in the Browse API, but it looks like that is permissions restricted (checking watchCount on this page )

Note: This field is restricted to applications that have been granted permission to access this feature. You must submit an App Check ticket to request this access. In the App Check form, add a note to the Application Title/Summary and/or Application Details fields indicating that you want access to Watch Count data in the Browse API.

I went to the App Check ticket link, but all I see is an option to file a ticket to increase my call limit (nothing about requesting permissions to specific fields/methods). Anybody here gotten access to watchCount and know if that's the correct path to pursue?

You must request an application growth check if you want to use restricted API or  get the access for restricted field in Production.

When you submit the App Check ticket, in the App Check form, add a note to the Application Title/Summary and/or Application Details fields indicating that you want access to Watch Count data in the Browse API.
