PLA does anyone have any issues ?

The PLA feature seemed to be working well - then suddenly stopped working overnight from 25 Nov.

fell to zero impressions and zero clicks .  Have been in contact daily since then with ebay CS but no change and nobody there seems to be able to escalate a ticket to the tech team and respond with a solution.

Does any one have a similar problem? Can the ebay team on this forum shed any light on the problem ? Thanks

Re: PLA does anyone have any issues ?

Hello @alphamicrocomponents

We met with our internal teams and investigated the issue and can confirm there weren’t any bugs or other product issues that interfered with or was the cause of the drop in impressions and clicks.

There are several factors that can affect Promoted Listings Advancedᴮᴱᵀᴬ campaigns, including (but not limited to):

  • Removing popular keywords from your bidding strategy resulting in lower exposure
  • Reducing the bid on your keywords
  • Bidding too low on a competitive keyword

While every campaign is different, testing different bidding and keyword strategies is the best way to figure out how to get the best placement. We suggest taking a look at the keywords you’re using for the campaign and identifying the top performing ones (you can do that by generating a report in the Advertising Dashboard under the Marketing tab), and making sure that your bids for those high-performing keywords are competitive. You can also use our bid guidance tool in the campaign manager to make sure that your bids are competitive.

We also posted a blog that reviews how create and optimize your keyword bidding strategy for Promoted Listings Advancedᴮᴱᵀᴬ that could potentially be a good resource for you. You can also find best practices and other FAQs for Advanced campaigns in our Seller Center.

Please let us know if you’re still experiencing issues after making some of these adjustments. Thank you for your feedback and for being a valuable part of the eBay seller community.
