Can anybody tell me anything about this piece. Maker, glaze type etc?
It’s about 5” tall by 5” in diameter. Lots of crazing.
Thanks so much,
michelle

it is a crystalline glaze. it has crazed because the glaze was not correctly matched to the body. for example a glaze for earthenwares will craze just like this when fired on porcelain. I do not know if this was intentional or a fault.

Contemporary Chinese. Likely produced in the last 20 years.
