Not sure what books you looked through, but it is Depression glass.  The pattern is Adam and the maker is Jeannette Glass.  They made the pattern from 1932-1934.  According to the Mauzy's, the only pieces known to have been reproduced in this pattern is the butter dish and lid.

I have looked through my books & can't find anything that even resembles this so I am assuming it's a reproduction or later glass.  I would like to know for sure so any help is really appreciated.
