Is this an egg cup? Do you recognize the pattern or flowers?

I don't get these very often and I always mess up between toothpick holder and egg cup  This happens to be 2" across the top  Would that classify it as an egg cup?   I could not find any markings   Any idea as to pattern, maker, era, etc?   TYIA for any help

I'd say egg cup. It looks to be too wide open at the top for toothpicks.

It's called a double egg cup, but you can look up the why and how.
