Help with identifying Porcelain marking

I have a lovely little figurine of young man playing the flute.  Id like to know more about the piece.  On the bottom theres a marking.  Could you please help.  Thank you for your time and guidance.  It will not let me post a picture so mark is blue, a puffy crown and theres a tiny mark in the crown, then below a little like badge thing with 2 letters in it that could possibly be a M and (weird shaped) U Then in Caps GERMANY

Thank you!

Help with identifying Porcelain marking

Your text description is not going to help anybody, least of all you, because a picture is needed. Since the mark is German, I would first go to Kovel's 'New Dictionary of Marks', which has 280 pages of marks, with 16 marks per page, or roughly 4500 marks. If it were US, I would use the US Marks book, where that author has even more marks. Trying to describe the mark is a complete waste of both your time, and anybody else's time. After the picture is posted, anyone who tries to help you, is going to have to spend their time, searching through those (and other) books in order to find the mark, so the least you can do, if you want help, is post a picture. Another option is to just buy one of the above books. There are cheap used versions available on-line at various sites.

Help with identifying Porcelain marking

Could it be something like this?

sample-unterweissbach

That is a mark from the company of Heinz Schaubach (hence "H S"), which later became the VEB Porzellanfabrik Unterweissbach. It shows a crown above a stylized 'H - U - S' for "Heinz Schaubach, Unterweissbach". The mark version with additional GERMANY was used between 1956 and 1962.

You can start on this page. There's a ton of marks broken down by city/region. Poke around and you'll probably find yours. https://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/germany/thuringia/unterweissbach-01/index.php

[@ jrkirk]:
You should in mind that not everybody is a computer nerd and this forum software simply does not allow certain image sizes, both pixel and storage wise, next to the fact that it blocks certain image hosting sites as they don't pay eBay. All that is not shown when you try to post an image. OP said that it would not allow her to post an image, so OP at least tried.

Also, your comment on Kovels is ridiculous as it is well known that they lifted most of their "knowledge" from German author Roentgen ... one of the most unreliable sources on German porcelain overall. So Kovels would not recognize their own backside when served a picture of it, trust me. At least *I* know what I am talking about and don't mindlessly recycle copycatted material.

Question for original poster: what is the image size setting on your camera? Perhaps it is set too high, making photos too large for posting here. The size will be expressed as two numbers, such as 1024 x  768.
