Help identifying the back marks on Haviland Limoges

Hi All,

Could you please lead me in the right direction in identifying these teacups? The backmark says, Theodore Haviland Limoges France patent applied for all in black and Theodore is underlined

Any help is appreciated

Thank you

Help identifying the back marks on Haviland Limoges

Good Morning All.
An observation, for what it's worth - printed Theodore Haviland marks, either over or under glaze, are red or green, not black.
The Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain, third edition, shows your mark but it is impressed, NOT printed. They are showing it as Mark #28, dating 1904 to mid 1920s.
I also checked my book on fake & forged marks and your mark was not shown but the book was printed in 2002 so a bit out of date.
No definitive answer for you but a little more info that may help.

Thank you Poppyswag. I did some research online, but I have not seen this kind of black back-mark anywhere.  Concerned this might be an imitation 😞

Hmmm, personally don't know much about Haviland. The member leathernlace that posted on the other thread has books. Maybe they will pop up. This is an interesting blog on the brand.

I also checked two other books, one on Haviland and the other on Limoge. Neither showed your mark.
