Gorgeous Vase

Another piece from my Great Grandmothers collection. I have no idea of age,  maker or anything else. I cannot really describe it very well as I have not seen anything like it. It stands 8 1/2" tall.

Nice decoration. Based on that I would say Victorian period. Looks European to me. What is the vase material?

It does resemble French Opaline glass of the Victorian era.

it is most likely english or bohemian (austrian/czech).  1880s or so.  A lot of people would call this 'Bristol glass' but that is  a misnomer.
