Foreign Language Cards

Hi Aengus, I have the same problem, luckily, my daughter has a fair handle on the German language. So I am waiting for her to visited. I have a stack of cards for her to go through. She helped me with the greeting cards. But the RPPC's have writing on the back and I, like you, would like to know what I have. I think some of RPPC's are from my own family and I would be heart broken if I ended up selling a piece of my family history. I wonder if there is software out there that could translate some of the words? Kathy

try babelfish or one of the other online translators that's available 🙂 Sometimes it comes out a bit oddly but you can usually get the gist of the meaning. Just do a search and you should find a few 🙂 Diane

like Diane I use babelfish, and other free translation services - I always reverse the translation back to see what I may be inadvertantly transalating - one of my favourites was "the fish here are biting" it was translated as "I bite fish"!!! Sara
