The message I received from ebay said I needed to sign up for managed payments if I wanted to list items for sale after January 22 2021.  So, any auto relist items already listed should be good with paypal until sold or I end them.

You have to sign up by your deadline that eBay gave you.

Ebay's contract with PayPal is ending and they have signed a new one with Adyen to be the fund processor.  

 If you have been "invited" to sign up then you must do so by the deadline you were given if you wish to keep selling on eBay.

Your SS# is required for anti-money laundering laws and in case a 1099K is required.  Paypal had your SS#.  

Your Checking account information is needed to be able to receive your payout.

The name and address on your ebay account and checking account must match EXACTLY. I had to add my middle name to my ebay account.

You can use pending funds to pay for your shipping labels.  Select the option at the bottom of the label form.  It will stay this way until you change it again.

This is almost always true, but there is an exception.

The checking account I successfully attached to MP has the name of our living trust, my first name, middle initial, and last name, followed by the word Trustee on its checks.

My eBay registration is first name, middle initial, last name.

Apparently, the checking account's checks'  text does not have to match the eBay registration character for character.

I realize that this may be a rare exception, but it does exist.  I was very worried about this when I registered with MP (because I had read the "must match exactly" advice on the boards for years), but it was no problem.
