so i made a "sale" with a scammer? because i didnt know that ebay still used an AOL email. BUT they dont and theyre email is ebay@ebay.com and the email that i was given was officials_ebay@aol.com and then they told me to verify with @payment-online_verification@mail.com the thing also had many spelling errors but since this was my first sale i was excited to get $525 but i still havent gotten my funds and i dont see any holding money or payout money or none of thr and infact. i am now in DEBT to ebay because of this. can someone help me? the @officials_ebay@aol.com email told me that they do have it on hold AFTER the buyer gets it but yet again i STILL dont see it. AT ALL so please somebody respond before it is too late. because i dont want to lose 500 and ps5. (note: it is still at the ups store where i dropped it off)

eBay has never used AOL. AOL also no longer exists.

If you shipped it call or go to UPS and have them intercept it back to you. it may cost you $$.

NEVER NEVER ship anything unless your eBay shows you have an item awaiting shipping.
You can cancel the sale on eBay as problem with buyers address to recover fees.
If I am incorrect someone will chime in.

If it's still at the UPS store, go and see if you can get it back before they ship it out.

Have a great day.

This is the very reason new sellers should be reatricted from selling expensive items when they first start selling. Many scammers prey on new sellers because they are inexperienced and easily tricked.
