So I got a new debit card. It has been activated and I've been using it with no problems, but when I try to update my debit card info eBay won't accept it. I tried deleting it and selecting to add a new card, but that doesn't work either. Anyone have a solution for this yet? I know this has been a problem for at least a year because I saw an old thread from 2023 about this same issue.

The Visa prepaid cards do that.  As far as I know, there has not been a solution.

Try adding the new card as a new payment source. Once it has been accepted, go back and mark it as primary then delete the old card. If you were trying to overwrite the old card, don't think that has ever worked.

As I said, I have tried that and it doesn't work.

Edit: Just tried again and it worked. I think my ad blocker was the issue. I made eBay a trusted site so it didn't block anything and it fixed it.

It's not a prepaid card. Just discovered what the issue was I think. Finally got it to work.
