Yes, and that is because the fees are not higher for most sellers.  It is just done differently which is confusing for some and it is nothing like PP which is the biggest issue for many.  I respect that.  It is a HUGE change of process.

Seems like you're doing well selling. Don't know why you'd want to give that up instead of adapting. MP just isn't that big a deal. In a week or two you'll get used to it. No one hates change more than I do. I was horrified when I first read about it coming. I was surprised to find out how smooth it works for me.

I agree with what you say.

Managed pay is not and never could be as good as PayPal. Well it could but this is eBay of course.....

It is a bit steep for a learning curve to force on users.

I agree and disagree at the same time.  I don't agree that MP is hard to learn.  It is a very basic money processing system without any bells and whistles.  So the program itself IMHO is very easy to learn.  What IMHO makes it difficult to learn from some is allowing the anger and the way PP works to get in their way.  They can't shake it so since MP doesn't stack up to a fully functioning wallet like PP, that they are use to, it is like chipping away at that wall of angst first before they will allow the new information to be absorbed.

I get it and I respect it.  It is a HUGE change and it affects our money.  Those are two things that stir up all kinds of feelings, emotions and opinions.

Yep change on eBay can upset the users. The reaction is not new. Been there and done it.

Part of the reason I post the

Good luck and let us know when you come back posts on those stating they are leaving.

It is still a very viable place to sell, and to buy.

It is still hard for some to make change.

It is very understandable.

I do hope some will calm down and let their emotions cool down before just quitting.

MP is a usable system.

Book keeping is a pain but even that can be done.

Enough of that...

I use MP and still can make money using eBay.

All are free to accept or reject what eBay offers.  It really doesn't matter if you are a customer - they can't reverse course just for you.  They've done the math on MP - they know that they will lose some sellers.  The truth is that sellers need eBay more than eBay needs sellers.  There are plenty of sellers - getting more buyers is the goal.
