managed payments

Hi

I get an email:

Congratulations! Your account activation for managed payments is now complete. Your listings are now automatically updated to reflect the different ways buyers can pay......"

Must I give use this new managed payment option?

(I don't want to give ssn# and bank account as PayPal already had them. )

Can I use my previous PayPal option to get paid?

If yes, how?

Thank you for answering !

managed payments

@yuhl.1894

Oh so sorry but the answer is no.

eBay has parted ways with PayPal as the payment processor and is now with Ayden.

MP is going to be for all U.S. sellers.

I understand that it's a bummer...many of us would rather have stayed with PayPal.  ☹️

You are already in because I see GPay as a payment option on the listing I looked at. So you haven't given them any banking info?

...and they will probably hold any funds from future sales until you do give them the info that they need. Seems like that's how they're doing it now.

I wonder if all this "confusion" over Managed Payments has anything to do with all the open job listings in the Payments section? Last I looked it was 46 or 47 positions just in Payments. I would think all those open positions plus people working from home would just equal mess-ups and confusion.

It sort of feels like they have the cart before the horse ... opting the listings into Managed Payments before they have all the necessary information in place.

I am confused by your post for a few reasons........

1. Your listings are showing you are in managed payments.

2. You stated you DON"T want to give out SSN and bank info

3. You received a message( I am assuming from ebay)  that states "Your account activation for managed payments is now complete."

HOW is it complete when it sounds like you did not  supply the info requested to sign up for Managed payments (bank and SSN)?

Managed payments CLEARLY SHOW on your listings.

You MUST HAVE SUPPLIED the info????????

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!
