I see a big red flag then I upload my ID then they put a hold on my money. I have been on eBay for 20 years. We were forced on Managed payments last sept 12th. It has been a lousy experience. I can understand them wanting to verify my ID once a year but why hold the money. We have never had a complaint never a problem. We have always taken care of our buyers and this is how eBay rewards us. We have two hundred and seventeen thousand positive feedback with over 2000 followers.
All they say is it could take 5 days for the review. Cash flow has been very difficult in the last few months and this hurts. It is like me saying ok before i can give you your paycheck I need to veryfi your id and they say I am so busy you might need to wait a week. I don't think I have ever been this upset at ebay.

It’s happening to everyone; new and veteran sellers alike. Thinking they are just being super sure of information they have to supply to IRS and our 1099k with the new reporting requirements. It has happened to us twice since we went to managed payments and yes it’s usually 5 business days, at least for us. Our info didn’t change and was super easy but some have reported extended delays but maybe because of slight changes (such as address changes, etc.) could be causing the delay.

There is absolutly no excuse for eBay holding our money. Especially since things have been running smooth. By all means go ahead and veryfi all you want. Request documents to make sure look under every freeking rock. There is no need to hold funds. eBay is not putting enough money and resorces in the managed payments it is that simple they don't care enough to make it a smooth transition. Look at the Managed payment custmer service reps most of them barley speek english. I have a hard time undestanding them. The first thing they all say after they answer the phone is ( I see you have been with eBay for over 20 years and I would link to thank you for your loyalty) I always tell them I have absolutly NO Loyalty to eBay based on the way they have acted in the last 20 years. I have learned over the last forty years in business that the quickest way to gain an enemy or ruin a good employee is to Mess with there money. If people can feel secure in your system they will not stay long and will fight you all the way. I will say it again eBay has no right to hold our money period.
