absolutely not my cup of tea now waiting for payments to get transferred to my bank account after item sold is unnecessary what are the thinking and what are they doing with are funds i don't get it i am currently looking elsewhere to sell items eBay as gone over the edge  .I dont ship until funds are in my bank account !

Waiting on the same ...buyer has to wait for item until we receive funds ...not liking at all..and you cannot speak to anyone at ebay ....chat not available ..nor phone

What about when you first started selling? Paypal would hold funds til the buyer either got the item or left feedback or 21 days. From what I gather ebay will if you ship from ebay release funds for the shipping label. I do have funds that I can draw on to ship items out when funds are slow in getting from ebay once I am with MP.

There’s no reason to wait for payment to hit your bank. If you choose that route, make sure to increase your handling time.

I have been in Managed Payments since October 2018.

In my experience, it takes 4 days from when the buyer pays to when the payment (less FVF) is credited to my checking account. My checking account is with a major bank. When I was using my federal credit union checking account, it took longer than 4 days.

I have a 1-day handling time, and I have specified daily payouts since I am a low volume seller. When the item is in Seller Hub > Orders > Awaiting shipment, I ship.

I have never had a problem when I ship next business day.  The payment has always arrived into my checking account in 4 days.

Then make sure your Handing Time reflects that. You'll still be fine with eBay, even though you're not fine with eBay.

You do know that with Paypal if something went wrong like a dispute or return they would simply take that money back from you.
