I've been trying to do 2 different refunds on transactions from earlier today.
On the ebay MP transaction refund screen, I select from the drop down list as usual, then type the amount which matches the item, and I get a pop up error message:
"We weren’t able to send the refund. Please try again."
I have tried to refund various amounts and selected all different reasons on two different buyer transactions for the past 3 hours now. Nothing has worked.
I do not see anyone else reporting this issue, so wondering if it's just me...thanks

Try clearing your cache and cookies, try another browser, I have not seen other posts remarking on this, but not to say it is not a glitch and you the unlucky first - good luck

Thank you. I should have mentioned that I did try both already.
One thing i did notice, is that if I put the refund amount at the bottom of the page, rather than the item box itself, the refund goes through...HOWEVER...no eBay fees are refunded this way.
It takes the full refund amount from your MP account, vs showing you the fees credit you'll receive and the actual amount you have to refund from your MP account.
This has not happened before, but it is the only way it appears to be working.
Not cool. I hope it is a glitch. A glitch that is fixed asap.

When I saw your FB total, I figured you would know the in's and out's, but it was all I could think of.
If it continues try contacting eBay on facebook about the issue with fee's owed to you
