Dec 21st 2021...
My friend sent me 200 euros to my Paypal account, instantly there was a withdrawal from eBay UK Limited for 128.00 (144 USD) with no reference to what the funds were in relation to. I contacted eBay immediately asking what was the transaction for they said they didn't take any money from my account and that I should talk to Paypal, I got onto Paypal, they said they don't have any information on it but can see the transaction on their side and that it looks legit as far they can see but I should talk to eBay as they have parted ways. I get back onto eBay and they continue to send me back to PayPal, this goes on for a few days that both eBay and Paypal tell me that they cannot help me and that I should talk to both companies. I'm ready to have a heart attack with the stress they're putting me under. It's Christmas week and I decide to put it all to one side until the new year as my lead up to Christmas was already ruined by this drama.
Jan 2022...
I decide to pick things back up from where I left off, after numerous online chats, phone calls to people in the Philippines, UK, US etc... I'm assured by them that someone from the specialist team will contact me to go through everything and have it sorted, Jan 26th I still haven't heard anything from anyone at eBay. I call myself and get speaking to someone from the specialist team, She keeps me on the phone for almost 1hr to then tell me that she will need to speak with someone more superior than her to discuss the matter, she asks for 4 days to work on it and she will contact me, to end the call she says to me ''not to stress about it and put my feet up and have a glass of wine to relax'' (how inappropriate).
Feb 2022....
Still waiting, no contact, no nothing from anyone. I just tried to speak with two people on the online chat and they disconnected their conversations with me, now I cannot speak with anyone from the online team as eBay says that ''sorry they cannot connect me with anyone right now''. - Funny that.
I don't care about the money at this point and I want an explanation as to why this was taking and I will do everything in my power to get that answer. eBay have an office here in Dublin, I shall pay them a visit myself, I will also be speaking to my solicitor about this, the stress it has caused me and the endless hours of speaking to robots online and people from all over the world on the phone. All pointless! A 2.9 billion company, come on eBay, you can do better than treating your customers like that.

So is the money isn't back in your account, but you can't identify a charge for 'eBay UK Limited'.
Is that how eBay's invoices would read over there? It doesn't look like a charge from a merchant. Have you sold before?

Hi @gitzysnowblader ,
I see you are located in Ireland. You have posted on the US community and should be asking this question on the UK Community instead. Below is a thread that goes back to 2017 here with basically the same question. Apparently your account is set to Pay eBay for FVFs, items you purchase, monthly invoices (if you still use PayPal as your payment processor), maybe refunds on returns, etc.
Additionally, someone may have hacked your account ... hard to say what happened, we have no access to your account.

Hey, I sold before.... back in June of 2021. Buyer was in the UK, she claimed the vinyl was scratched but refused to send me photos, when she did I honestly couldn't make out where the scratch was that she claimed was on the record. eBay issued her with a full refund through the Buyer Protection programme. eBay in turn took the full refund out of my Paypal account in the Sept of 2021 so all was sorted and everyone was happy. Then come Dec 2021 a payment to eBay UK is randomly taking from my account with no description.
